BUPOTRA INC one day capacity building work shop of volunteers/staff,youths,community members and other stake holders drawn for six communities in Paynesville and Kakata, on peace building, conflict management with emphasis on non violence education in a participatory approach. BUPOTRA INC carry's out capacity building work shop to train twenty five participants in peace building, conflict management with emphasis on non violence education. The importance of this work shop is that it is a strategy of accompanying the volunteers/staff/members and supporters of BUPOTRA INC to ensure that each one is in the better position to act in the event a situation of violence occurs in his/her immediate surrounding. This empowers the participants to reproduce the strategies and lesson learn t to the peer groups which they represent at the workshop. The workshop involves twenty five participants who were very enthusiastic about the broadening of their understanding on the situation of violence that exist in the communities which every participated in identifying. It was interactive as the exchanges amongst the different categories of participants was frank and cordial. Out come: The work shop impacts the participants so much that they recommended a continuation of the series of work shop and to spread it around the rest of the communities where they feel the youth population are at risk where it comes to the situation violence, lack of tolerance and low understanding of the importance of diversity. Pottage: photos of the events were taken by a photographer called Allosious Kpoto, which totals the number of six, and because of his interest he could offer a little discount to BUPOTRA AS CONTRIBUTION. Challenges; BUPOTRA INC faces several challenges as it relates to the lack of adequate access to the internet to research and compile resources materials for the participants, equipments to ENSURE THE EFFICIENT OPERATION OF THE ORGANIZATION in terms of compiling documents, copying,scanning,camera to get photos of the activities and funding support to carry out the continuation of the awareness to promote non violence, tolerance and diversity in Liberia amongst the population in Liberia. Recommendations: A. That funding support be awarded to BUPOTRA to enable it carry out the efficient holding of training workshop to reduce the situation of violence in the country facing the challenges as a result of the post conflict situation which is tension related. B. That partnership and collaborating opportunity is afforded BUPOTRA to continue the initiatives it is carrying out currently by improving its training of the disadvantaged population in Liberia by providing it with necessary access to the right kind of materials/equipment to reduce the stress and difficulties related to the lack of these materials. C. BUPOTRA Inc. recommends to the general public and philanthropist organizations and individuals to donate now to enable it help reduce the level of violence in the country through the series of work shops it embarks upon. The children and youths are termed the future leaders as such much need to be done to build their capacity in this direction
